Birth & Postpartum Doula serving the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island.
What’s Included?
3 Prenatal Visits-where we explore your exclusive needs, wishes or questions, coping skills, comfort measures, design your birth map\preferences and bring forward valuable tools\skills for your support team to use during your delivery journey. Prenatal visits are also a beautiful opportunity for us to get to know eachother better. Birth is an intimate space, my priority is ensuring that when in my presence, you feel heard, understood and held.
On Call Support- I’m there to support you as soon as I am hired. When you are at 37 weeks, I am available 24\7. Helping with anything from optimal positioning to peace of mind.
One on One Childbirth Support- When you call on me, I am by your side for unwavering labour support for the duration of your birth
Birth Photography- Simple, thoughtful captures to keep forever (if desired)
Postpartum-1 Postpartum follow up visit. Time to debrief and process your experience, feeding help, emotional and physical birther care. Tips on postpartum nutrition and treats. (See postpartum service page to expand on postpartum care)
I’ll help you to tune out the noise, finding your voice instead, aligning with your intuitive desires and instincts as a birther and parent. The goal is for you to birth your way and within your terms. I am not there for anybody except for you and your wishes.
While there are so many practical tools a Doula learns (positioning, massage, touch, experiences with birth, hypnobirthing, visualizations, coping skills breathwork etc) the most important part to me is that you feel safe with me. That I remain calm and trusting amongst the healthy pain you experience. That my steady mind and my steady hand can guide you back to your intentions. That I remain unbiased and supportive of each of your choices you make with your autonomy. I am here for you and so glad to be.
Please reach out about sliding scale options if that is something that is limiting you from the care that you deserve.
I am located in the Comox Valley and can support families for Home Births, the North Island Hospital Comox Valley and the North Island Hospital Campbell River.
Sliding scale: $30-40\hr, minimum 4 hours each session.
Anytime is the right time to enter into postpartum care, it is never too early or too late.
Postpartum visits are tailored to your needs, and include:
Emotional and practical support as you move through your early days as parents
Support with newborn care and feeding

Household help with laundry, food prep, and cleaning to help your home environment feel relaxing and comfortable
Nutrition support using recipes that are warm and nourishing. Recipes that support lactation, that fuel energy, that are hydrating and that make you feel taken care of.
Supporting any other children to help integrate new dynamics and ensure all members needs are being met
Resources and recommendations for other types of care and providers
If you are not immediately postpartum, or your child joined your family through adoption/surrogacy, this form of care is also for your family.
Each family is unique and requires different types of support. We discuss your overall need and your goals for each visit. My intention is to provide as much support as possible.
The goal is for me to meet you where you are at in this unique season in your life. Not limited to stages of motherhood, I invite all who feel stuck in their personal style, who feel their energy is being used elsewhere or who don’t know where to begin.
My goal is to find joy in textile expression and to share that joy with others. I love sharing how different forms of self expression can regulate our nervous systems.

My Scope:
My personal values align with natural fibres (wool, linen, cotton, silk, rayon, hemp, bamboo) and sustainable shopping. This means I prioritize shopping secondhand, local and organic.
It is entirely up to each individual on whether they want their closet to be made up from natural fibres. One option is not always better than the other for each person. However, if having lots of natural fibre textiles to choose from is something you want, its possible.
